Highlights from our previous workshops
The JAX CIO Workshop is all about focusing on all areas of IT that are going to impact your career, your business, and the world of technology. Here are some highlights from our past discussion:
Security
Hosted at the Cooper Hawk Winery, this event featured speakers from Netwolves, Masergy, and Quadrant who answered questions from the packed house on strategies and best practices for securing their organizations from the new threat landscape.
Mobility & IOT
A panel discussion featuring experts from Sierra Wireless and Soti focused on the future of all things mobility, IoT, 5G, MDM, and more. We were also proud to support K9 for Warriors at this Veterans Day event.
Contact Center as a Service
Experts from TalkDesk and Nice InContact joined the JAX CIO community for a great panel discussion on the future of the customer experience. Hosted at iFly Jacksonville, attendees had fun soaring to new heights and creating some memories.
SDWAN
Hosted at Maggiano’s, members discussed the future of business networks and the world of SDWAN. Members explored the rising popularity of SDWAN and the shift from legacy MPLS networks. We also discussed how not all providers and solutions are alike and how to tell what solution is best for your business.

"It's good to see what other people are considering and the moves they are looking to make in the future. The discussion outside of the panel is a great opportunity where you can hear what the other businesses are doing."
Jason Palmer
Director, IT Infrastructure Services | Safariland
"It was a great chance to hear everyone talk about the struggles they are having with the cloud and how to take it to the next level. Whether they're starting with one premise and taking up to cloud or going from cloud to cloud; really discussing what the next evolution is there."
Chris Hyatt
Director, Enterprise Information | Rayonier Advanced Materials
"I had a chance to see others who are having the same issues. The cloud is a top-down deal where they know where the end goal is but not exactly how to get there. It's nice to interact with a vendor to realize the benefits of what they offer compared to others and build a two-way partnership."
Matthew Parks
Director of Information Services | Pace Center For Girls
